It's no secret that Las Vegas is suffering from a doctor shortage. Nevada's physician workforce has remained relatively flat compared to our growing population. Even if Nevada's population didn't grow, it would take over 2,500 physicians to bring us up to the national average of doctors to residents ratio. 
One of the reasons for our shortage is the lack of residency programs here in the valley.  Another reason is that the compensation rates aren't competitive with other states.  
You may be among those that find it takes weeks, sometimes months to see your primary care doctor. It's unfortunate but one doctor network is trying to be a part of the solution.

Healthcare Partners has spent the last year opening over 20 myGeneration clinics across Las Vegas, Pahrump and Mesquite. MyGeneration clinics are primary care clinics that provide care focused on seniors and their unique health needs. Physicians and care teams within the clinics have been specifically trained to understand and care for people 65 and older on Medicare. 
By removing the senior population from the general Healthcare Partner offices and caring for them at offices specifically designed to provide seniors the care they deserve, they are able to provide a higher level of care to ALL patients.
